EES was engaged to assess energy conservation and compliance with the Peak Load Management Program that NYPA offers to more than 100 clients in NYC. Hospitals such as Woodhull, Jacobi, North Central Bronx, Lincoln, Metropolitan, and Harlem not only saved thousands of dollars but also were able to enjoy an uninterruptible power supply during the 2003 blackout.

Environmental consulting, owner’s engineer and permitting services for the CHP project including the fuel oil conversion and burner replacement for the CEPSR Steam Plant (One (1) 15 MW Turbine + Four (4) x 99.5 MMBtu/hr dual fuel boilers).
Mt. Sinai Medical Center, New York, NY
EES is the environmental consultant for the medical center. During a large scale renovation of a current boiler plant, EES performed Permittability Stack Study Analysis for various scenarios that includes the impact on the new CSM Building and managed complete environmental compliance and permitting work for the facility.
Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx, NY
EES is the regulatory compliance manager for all divisions of Montefiore Hospitals. EES has been responsible for regulatory compliance of cogeneration plants, Title V Permit Compliance Reports, RICE NESHAP (Subpart ZZZZ), Spill Prevention Plans and Training, COMS Monitoring, stack testing, and continued compliance determination.
NYU Langone Medical Center
EES is the regulatory compliance manager for NYU Langone, coordinating all Method 9 testing, NYCDEP Work Permits & Renewals, DoE Reporting, and stack testing, etc.
New York Presbyterian Hospital
EES is the regulatory compliance manager for all facilities within the NYPH network, overseeing all Spill Prevention Plans and Training, asbestos training, annual water testing, and PBS Renewals, etc. Special projects have included creating the scope for a secondary fuel oil containment system for Lawrence Hospital’s new roof generator.
Hilton Hotels - New York, NY
EES was the consultant for three Hilton Hotels for the permitting of cogen engines and boilers. EES was engaged by the design and installation company, CRC Engineering. Obtained NYCDEP permits for the engines, NYSDEC permit for the boilers, and NYCDOB permits for the engines and boilers.
